Service Charge Analyst
Our Client is one of the UK’s leading commercial service charge specialists, actively working on raising industry standards and promoting best practice in service charge management whilst delivering fair value service charges for its clients since 1992.
They are seeking to appoint a service charge analyst to work within the Portfolio Services team at their Aztec West office. The role encompasses two key work streams – service charge administration (acting on behalf of clients as tenants) and service charge recovery (clients as landlord). The successful candidate will also provide support to consultants and other colleagues as required.
The candidate will have experience of commercial service charges, be confident reading leases and other legal documentation, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Whilst the role is predominately office based, the candidate may be required to conduct site visits and attend meetings with clients and/or third parties (own transportation required).
Working within a small friendly team, the successful candidate must be adaptable and flexible. The role at times may encompass all key tasks detailed below. Applicants should have excellent attention to detail, an enquiring nature and a logical and methodical approach to analysis and problem solving. Review and analysis of cost information forms a large part of the role and so the candidate should enjoy working with figures and have intermediate Excel skills.
