Sales, Marketing and Research Analyst - Gloucestershire

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, niche property consultancy working within the sales, marketing and research department of a friendly, professional office. Reporting to the associate director of sales and marketing your role within the business is to provide a reliable, responsible and in-depth research provision, further details can be found below.

Duties and responsibilities

Sales & Marketing

  • Supporting the Associate Director – Sales and Marketing with specific projects, including development of new business opportunities and market research
  • Developing and maintaining a potential customer database
  • Monitoring and reporting on industry developments
  • Preparing sales documents and assisting with pricing
  • Collecting and analysing data for the industry benchmarking reports
  • Preparing Google Analytics reports
  • Assisting with seminar and conference programmes
  • Assisting with sales calls
  • Developing online content and managing Social Media channels
  • Assisting with drafting and production of offline marketing material and proposals
  • Supporting the team in the pitch process
  • Obtaining periodic testimonials and approvals for PR initiatives
  • Providing administrative support for all marketing and business development meetings to include objectives, agendas, briefing notes, attendees, action points, and minutes

Research

  • Conducting extensive industry research through various online and other sources on a daily basis and communicating these across the business in an effective, efficient and clear format.
  • Intensive and on-going analysis of competitor sales and marketing output and research publications.
  • Planning, conducting and producing industry leading commercially focused benchmarking publications including:
  • Sourcing and collating reliable industry data
  • Analysis of data and production of multiple reports including compliance against industry standards
  • Liaise with key contributors in the UK and abroad
  • Production of in-depth report accurately detailing results including graphs, tables and diagrams to effectively illustrate results
  • Presentation of results to key stakeholders.
  • Provide comprehensive support to sales and marketing department including conducting industry research and additional tasks as and when required.
  • Development of industry specific knowledge through regular industry event attendance, publications and research.
  • Effective use of in-house specialist database system to produce reliable reports and information.
  • Business development: Research potential new sales targets, production of report of findings and presentation to Sales and marketing director.
  • Close monitoring and research into industry specific legislative changes
  • Ad hoc marketing responsibilities including social media and website management, production of google analytics reports and analysis.
  • Communication with external third parties including graphic design and Public relations agencies relating to the production, publication and promotion of research.
  • Ad hoc research duties as required for other departments of the business.
  • Additional ad hoc duties and responsibilities as deemed suitable by management.

Skills and competencies

  • Experience producing in-depth, commercial research publications to a high standard
  • Ability to source, analyse and collate data into effective and reliable reports
  • Excellent standards of written and spoken English
  • High levels of ICT skills including outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word.
  • Previous experience using databases to harvest data and produce accurate reports
  • Knowledge of managing multiple social media accounts
  • Knowledge of business to business sales and marketing processes
  • Excellent levels of numeracy
  • Say, secure and confidential handling of data.
  • Some awareness of commercial property sector would be beneficial
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Efficient planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to support project management
  • Ability to work to a required timeframe and effective diary management skills
