Quality Engineer

Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join their team to work in Bristol. (Some UK / International travel)

Role Purpose

To be a member of the Quality Function, providing functional package management leadership, support and subject matter expertise, which ensures that quality standards are achieved right first time, in accordance with the Client’s requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Support implementation of the Supply Chain Quality Strategy
• Support the development and maintenance of appropriate content, ensuring the systems, processes and procedures developed are fit for purpose and instil a right first-time approach
• Provide Quality support and input to the Procurement Package Criticality Assessment process and determination of the appropriate surveillance arrangements to be implemented
• Identify and exploit/mitigate Supply Chain Quality Opportunities and Risks on the project
• Provide appropriate Quality input to the development of Procurement Package Specifications

Qualifications / Experience

• Hold a current CSCS Card or CCNSG – Safety Passport equivalent
• Hold Triple Bar – Nuclear New Build (or within 2 months of commencement)
• Be a Practitioner Member of CQI (PCQI) or working towards membership
• Be ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
