Manage and drive forward our programmes of property development –, refurbishment of core estate sites, and special project works as required. Drive for continual improvement in time, cost and quality and incorporate innovation and industry leading technologies into our projects.
Establish, lead and develop external consultant teams to ensure best performance across all projects. Take all projects from inception to PCR incorporating and utilising standard procedures, key performance indicators and commerciality to ensure best value and efficient levels of delivery through the external team.
The candidate should be an experienced construction/property project manager with a proven record and who regards themselves as self motivated. They should be passionate about problem solving and somebody who takes true and total ownership of their programmes from an end to end perspective, with an ability to resolve problems and conflicts at both the highest and lowest levels.
The position is field based in the South/South West of the country so the candidate needs to manage with minimum supervision, whilst handling problems calmly and systematically. The successful candidate should have an awareness and understanding of operational management with an ability to discuss and challenge all elements of restaurant and hotel operation.
Flexible, willing to learn and able to work within a fast moving and demanding environment the jobholder will need excellent organisational and communication skills as they will be communicating, influencing and reporting to all parts of our businesses, including company directors.
