Job Description: Business Development Manager

Award winning national building services provider and Facilities Management Company is offering a truly unique opportunity for a key individual with a successful proven sales track record to join their newly created UK operation as District Business Development Manager. This is a key appointment and requires a high calibre sales I business development professional with a proven track record of delivering £ 1m+ opportunities and comes with a healthy and active sales pipeline. You will have extensive experience in all aspects of Facilities and account management. As well as this you will have long standing direct relationships with key decision makers such as Facility Manager, Estates Directors or Supply chain.


Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve and exceed the agreed new business sales targets with the required mix of business within the overall service proposition
• Take responsibility for all new business pitches and sales opportunities that arise
• Deliver significant sales results to meet and exceed personal targets via effective, innovative proactive outbound sales activity
• Identify new service propositions to compliment and assist in client retention and increased sales revenues
• Identify new avenues and entry-points for new business opportunities through market research and marketing activities
• Successfully integrate and work efficiently with all other departments, particularly creative and structural teams, to maximise innovation, creativity, lead generation and sales success
• Ensure accurate and timely sales reporting to the Head of Business Development including a weekly sales report and inputting to the monthly sales forecast report and conference call.
• Track the progress of all sales prospects and record all activity and actions through sales system
• Attend regular sales reviews with senior management to ensure all business objectives are being met
• Manage all direct relationships with key clients and category buyers from existing and new business
• Present pitch proposals where necessary and support other members of the team. Devise and implement an array of strategies to underpin your personal sales initiatives across your allocated local market
