Job Title: Building Services Engineer – Multi-skilled
Department: National Facilities Management (FM)
Location: Mobile
Job Purpose: Completion of reactive and planned maintenance tasks at a broad range of premises and disciplines.
Responsible to: Delivery Manager
Accountabilities
Maintain a safe working environment, taking all opportunities to promote safe, sustainable practices.
Work to Vixen task allocations, PPM, reactive and installations, completing records and log books in line with company practices and within qualified skill set.
Undertake diagnostic and problem solving routines to resolve customer issues.
Maintain maintenance materials and consumables to agreed stock levels.
Identify and report on condition of equipment with particular focus on reliability.
Work with other team members, maintaining good working relationships.
Keep line manager informed of work progress and good communication is maintained.
Ensure paperwork and PDAoperating requirements are maintained in line with the company and customer required procedures, accuracy and timeliness.
Participate in the out of hours call out rota, responding to reasonable emergency requests as speedily as is safely possible.

Skills and Attributes
Full current car driving license
Physically able to carry out tasks required in general completion of role
Not colour blind
Good organisational skills including handling of job paperwork.
Certified H&S competency
Able to undertake clearance checks to CTC standard for customer site access requirements
Work to current British and ISO Standards, specifications, Codes of Practice relating to electrical and mechanical installation and SFG20 for maintenance activities.
City & Guilds Electrical Installation Work Part II
Two years’ experience of industrial electrical installation, maintenance, testing and repair work subsequent to training.
Domestic & Commercial gas qualification
Mechanical engineering qualifications
Air-conditioning qualifications
Understanding of risk assessments and method statements and demonstrating working to safe systems with regard for personal, customer and public safety and environmental impact.
Maintain equipment and vehicles in professional manner.
Clearly and concisely report activities and work to company policies.
Flexible approach to working hours as required to meet work requirements.
